About Like Minds

Founded in 2018, Like Minds Communications provides full-service marketing and communications services to mission-driven businesses: non-profit organizations, social enterprises and socially-interested businesses.

We work with brands and businesses that positively impact people, and communities, of all kinds. We're a business that cares about people and what the people - your people - want. The businesses owners, organizations and brands that we represent, at their core, are awesome people doing awesome things. We partner with our clients and the communities they serve to ensure we are meeting "your people" where they are to build meaningful relationships that drive impact.

At Like Minds, your mission drives our approach. We utilize smart, measurable communications strategies to showcase your mission to the right (like-minded) people.

While our home base is in Houston, Texas, we work with clients across the country. Our reach continues to expand as we officially set up shop in Portland, Oregon in 2026.

Our Values

  • We only take on clients whose missions we believe in, whose work we value, and for whom we are confident we can impact change and/or meet and exceed goals.
  • We embed ourselves into our clients’ worlds and become passionate members of their teams.
  • We ask the right questions to understand our clients’ unique needs and pain points.
  • We develop customized strategies and tactics to promote your mission and reach your people in the ways that make sense for your organization.
  • We monitor, track and demonstrate results to showcase your marketing dollars at work.
  • We draw on our decades of experience in PR, marketing and advertising, nonprofit management, donor relationship management, non-profit board membership and our innate passion for enhancing our communities.
  • We care. About you, our clients. About your audiences. About people. About the work we do. About improving the world in which we live.
