Lauren developed a love for stories and story-telling at a very young age. Her mother was an accomplished English teacher, and Lauren has been reading, listening to and telling stories for most of her life. She is very excited to be working as an Account Executive at Like Minds Communications supporting clients to tell their stories and expanding their visibility to target audiences. Lauren enjoys building relationships and she is passionate about creating connections that benefit her clients. She thrives when solving a good challenge, specifically by thinking outside the box and crafting creative solutions for organizations and businesses.

Lauren was a “Jesus Major” as she affectionately calls herself. She grew up in the Methodist church and studied religion in college, later attending seminary not once, but twice. Basically, she just likes to collect degrees. Lauren has served in a variety of professional roles including Director of Interfaith Relations at Interfaith Ministries, Executive Director at Brigid’s Place, Chaplain at Silverado Hospice, Parish Life Coordinator at Trinity Episcopal Church, and running her own business as a Spiritual Director. She is a “jill of all trades” and has done a little bit of everything in her career including program management, communications, community outreach, public relations, fundraising, spiritual direction, leading retreats, officiating funerals and several other “duties as assigned.”

Lauren is a fourth-generation Houstonian, avid reader, lover of good design and floral arrangements, country music fan, dark chocolate connoisseur, party planner extraordinaire,\ and much more! She is married to her husband Randy, mother to her daughter Vivian Rose, and smitten with her puppy Sage (a cavapoo). Lauren and her family live in West Houston and love enjoying all the wonderful, unique experiences that make the city a great place to live!
