Who can I expect to work on my account team?
Our Director of Client Relations, Larisa, oversees all client relationships and satisfaction. She is your go-to to discuss questions, concerns or ideas surrounding scope and the overall health of our client/agency relationship. She also maintains fantastic relationships with media, influencers and partners, and keeps her pulse on all of our service lines so can always step in when needed.
You’ll work with a dedicated Account Manager who will serve as your main point of contact. You’ll receive status updates, strategic oversight, project management and benefit from a supportive and collaborative relationship. This is also a great person to turn to for discussions around ROI, creative brainstorms and shifts in scope. Your Account Manager will also jump in to day-to-day execution when needed.
Account Executives are your boots on the ground, executing our strategies and services on a daily basis. This person will be in touch surrounding social media and email marketing content and/or with media, influencer or community partnership opportunities depending on scope.
Our CEO, Jenny, is involved in every account from a high level and enjoys being present to serve as a connector and idea-generator for clients, whether in scope or not.
Finally, we are passionate about mentorship and offer year-round apprenticeships and internships. However, clients should not expect an intern or apprentice to execute without clear guidance and supervision, nor are they regularly executing on your behalf. They are generally behind the scenes. In fact, many of our full-time employees (past and present) began as interns or apprentices as a way to ease into the workforce, agency life and our core service areas.
Outside of your clients, are you involved in the community?
Our core values not only mean we expect a partnership approach, ongoing results and value for clients and effective communication and accountability but also that each team member shows up for their colleagues, their clients and the larger community in meaningful ways.
Our team consistenly shares that they are proud to work for Like Minds especially because of the clients and their varied and important missions. AND many of our team members appreciate that we encourage and support them in their philanthropic and civic efforts outside of the office.

Have you won any awards?
We love seeing our agency partners and peers win awards through industry organizations and, to date, we’ve chosen to focus on doing the work instead of showing off awards.
Having said that, we are passionate about investing in our team and our internal culture and are excited to continue doing so. AND we're proud recipients of the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce's Allied Business of the Year Award!
How do you determine fees and what can I expect to pay?
We’re not afraid to talk dollars and cents, but our fees are dependent on a number of factors including scale of services utilized, how many hours we anticipate will be necessary for success, length of our contract and whether we are working with you on an ongoing basis, a project basis, an hourly basis or through trainings and consulting. Additional factors such as specific market support, potential travel and whether you have an internal marketing team member or not will also impact rates.
Generally, our ongoing clients can expect to pay between $4,000 and $10,000 a month, with some exceptions. Project-based clients can expect to pay a flat fee (broken up into two or more payments) of anywhere between $5,000 and $25,000+.
Our hourly support is billed at $175 to $300 an hour depending on seniority level. We recognize this is a wide range and we tailor rates to each client’s needs, budget and marketing, sales and/or development goals. We often scale up or down or shift services to ensure you’re receiving the best arrangement for your organization.
For clients with smaller budgets or teams, we also offer a lower-touch media relations program. You can find more information about our Media Relations Boost service here.
